make the feedback bass guitar (assemble the bits)
set it up for recording: record 2ch: 1 mic, 1 direct feed.
need to get: mic stand.
possibly cables, plugs, etc.
try as a refinement to the system: micing up the strings using a clip on directional mic such as a sax mic or small cardioid electret capsule. further again: feed the mic signal back through the amp to get the effect of fret rattles.
use pedals on the direct feed output of the system.
etc, etc.
PRIORITY: make the guitar with direct feed out and start playing with it and recording to refine a performance.
